'This app is incredible. Most people wouldn't think about using apps while they're diving, but sometimes it's very useful to have a way to log data when you're out in the water. The ability to capture GPS coordinates at the dive site is very convenient. I'd highly recommend this app whether someone is an amateur or a more experienced diver. '

'This app is really useful for divers, it logs the depth and time and place that you were, It also logs the temperature for later viewing. It also has many useful features, such as the ability to transfer the data from the dive computer with over 170 models via USB Infrared or Bluetooth. It supported my dive computer just fine, and seemed to work smoothly.'

Apr 19, 2004 Hi Folks, Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for PC, Windows XP-based dive log software. Not looking for anything spectacularly sophisticated: just want to be able to duplicate a hard-copy log book but with perhaps extra categories like sightings of fish, invertebrates, corals, etc and enough text space to fully describe a dive without having to scroll down a line a a time.
Subsurface is a cross platform (Windows, Linux, and Mac) and open source dive log software. It lets you add a dive manually or else you can also import dive sites (in XML or SSRF format), dive log file from PC. It also shows a graph for depth, pressure, mean depth, etc., related to dive.
Sep 01, 2019 Here is a list of 3 best free dive log software for Windows. These are helpful to keep the record of crucial information for an underwater diver related to his/her dive. You can keep records like dive name, dive time, dive date and time, cylinders, equipment used for dive, water temperature, dive buddy, weather, and more. The details can be different depending upon the software you’re using.
Jun 04, 2013 I am relatively new to diving (and brand new to this site) and am looking for dive log software to use with my Oceanic Geo 2.0 dive computer. I've tried Oceanic's OceanLog and DivePal, but both feel like they were designed in about 1987 and are not easy to use.

WHAT’S THE MEANING?
The word “scuba” is an acronym for “self-contained underwater breathing apparatus.” The modern-day equipment for scuba diving came from a long line of prototypes, but it was Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Émile Gagnan’s design in 1942, the Aqua-Lung, that was the first successful scuba device. Prior to the Aqua-Lung, diving devices were called “rebreathers,” as they recycled the carbon dioxide exhaled by the diver.
DID YOU KNOW?
The longest scuba dive on open saltwater was achieved by Turkish diver Cem Karabay in 2016, who was underwater for a total of 142 hours, 42 minutes, and 42 seconds. The numbers are not by accident, Karabay purposefully timed his dive to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Turkey’s anniversary of Cyprus. It doubled his own record of 71 hours which he achieved in 2015. His time almost tripled that of Walaa Hafez, the previous record holder, who stayed underwater for 51 hours and 20 minutes. Cem Karabay is no stranger to long dives. In 2011, he set the world record for the longest scuba dive in a controlled environment, wherein he was submerged in a pool for more than 192 hours or 8 days, which earned him the nickname “Aquarium Man.” To pass time underwater, he plays games of chess and backgammon with his support team. In total, Cem Karabay has achieved four Guinness World Records for his feats in scuba diving.

It's hard to find people that scuba dive but this app helps me connect with others who like scuba diving also. I would definitely recommend it because it's a social network and who doesn't like to talk about their hobbies!'
